Robyn co-founded the Global Patient Advocacy coalition to promote awareness of breast implant safety and informed consent. She also got a state law passed in Arizona for breast implant informed consent.

Episode 11: Jamie’s Ruptured Implant
HI Breastie! In episode 11 we meet Jamie! She is a fitness coach and former fitness competitor. She had implants for four years before removing them. A doctor removed her implants and discovered one was ruptured. Jamie ended up in the ER after surgery due to internal bleeding.

HI Breastie! In episode 12 I give you my one month post op update! I explain the massage process for incisions and breast tissue as well as an update on my pain/discomfort. I came across the most insane letter from a doctor that is infuriating when it comes to breast implants.

HI Breastie! In episode 13 you meet my newest breastie, Lauralie! We met while I was in Florida because she was also going to Dr. Rankin for surgery. She had a CRAZY consult with a doctor before getting in to see Dr. Rankin. She shares some insight into getting a lift and having implants while pregnant. I even speak to her 10-year-old-daughter to find out her perspective on her mom’s surgery!
